Jeff Burford
Jeff Burford joined the Morrissey Team in the summer of
2005, and since that time has gained a thorough understanding
of what it takes to succeed in the world of Employee Benefits.
Prior to joining Morrissey, Jeff worked for a health insurance
carrier where he became experienced in all facets of group
health insurance, including plan design, enrollment meetings,
underwriting and member services. This experience comes
as a terrific benefit not only for the Morrissey Team, but
more importantly, for our clients.
After graduating from Bishop Gorman College Preparatory
School in Las Vegas, Jeff attended the University of Nevada
where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management
with a concentration in Human Resources. After college he
worked as a human resources professional in the service
industry in an array of different positions that included
employment, recruitment, training, and most recently as
a human resources consultant specializing in unemployment
law. This background gives Jeff an understanding as well
as an appreciation of what Human Resources departments cope
with on a daily basis in addition to the everyday demands
that come with managing a Benefit Plan.
Jeff enjoys working and developing relationships with our
clients and strives to provide service that goes above and
beyond their expectations. “Our clients come first
and foremost. My goal is to ensure their satisfaction before
the day is done” he says. This mantra echoes the standards
we strive to exceed for all of our clients at Morrissey
Insurance Services.
